Conquer The North!

Panmundo is back on the road! After more than one year in Switzerland it's about time to do something adventurous again. So what about going off-roading in Scandinavia? This time it will not take two years, but a mere two weeks. However, rest assured that we (that would be Mr. Zimtkorn/Adrian and I) try everything to get stuck, drive through undiscovered lands and camp together with the mosquiteous whenever we are not invited by Swedish ... folks. If we make it till Helsinki, I might even manage to meet my girl-friend Olya. More than that, we will spend the longest day (21th of June, just in case you missed that day in school) somewhere up there and celebrate this happening with the Wikings.
The plan is to take the car-train from Lörrach (close to Basel) to Hamburg, then to enter Danemark where we will meet Thomas and Nete, our off-road guides for Danemark (read panmundo.com if want to find out about my adventures with these Danish off-roader in Malaysia) Then we will take the ferry over to... ...no clue. Sweden? Norway? There we are again: an open mind, an open schedule. Of course nothing is planned, but stay tuned, we will let you know!
For the moment though, some work has to be done: Exchange the Land-Cruiser's right front wheel bearing in order to be ready for off-roading again, get the bull-bar re-mounted, fill the fridge, etc. The Cruiser now has some 314'000km on the tachometer - let's say she is warmed-up and ready for some challanges!
